This year James Vincent McMorrow joins the ranks of artists who have dared to drop a surprise album. In his own words, “I had a record in my head that needed to be made, and I needed to release it when it was still as fresh and vital to me as it might be to anyone hearing it.”

With this release it is safe to say James has outdone himself, as he guides listeners through a sonic journey of time and space. True Care is a magnum opus dedicated to love’s place in this massive universe we call home. Throughout 15 tracks, listeners brush shoulders with soft piano ballads, jazzy drum beats, tightly knit electronic backtracks, and towering synth landscapes.
