Engineering the Perfect Playlist

These twenty-two songs represent the type of music I want to listen to while sitting in my cubicle writing code. Before assembling this playlist, it took me a while to be able to accurately describe any of the qualities I was looking for. So, I wound up picking songs that fit when I found them. Eventually it came down to two overarching themes: flowing melodies, and understated bass lines that nevertheless invade your mind and align your brainwaves.
